“As children, we were raised to always do whatever we can to help others and we love that we are now in a position to use our social and online platforms available to us and our Splice Boutique community in a globally positive way to give back on a regular and ongoing basis.
For us, the idea of "every little bit helps” and that "one person can make a big difference" are thoughts that over time can accumulate to make a big impact on our planet, our lives and the lives of others.
We are proud to support $1 from every sale to the Education of Women, Cleaning the Sea and Supporting Mental Health.”

In Australia, single women over 50 are the fastest growing group to experience homelessness due to financial vulnerability and lack of affordable housing. Barriers to mainstream employment and socio-economic inclusion are often due to disability, carer responsibilities and a lack of job opportunities - particularly in regional Australia.
Global Sisters supports women who are challenged to participate economically but are deeply motivated to be self-employed. Global Sisters business development support is long-term and equips women to launch and grow their own businesses. Being self-employed enables women to ‘stand tall’, creating a ripple effect of change in their families and communities.
This project is very close to heart at Splice Boutique which has been founded, owned and run by woman. We could not be more proud to aid in the empowerment of woman in business and education.
Over 160 million tons of plastic is produced each year to create single-use disposable items and packaging.
With no established system to close the loop, this has led to over 70 years of accumulation of plastics in landfill (40%) and the environment (32%), with only 10% being recycled.
Plastics end up in waterways and oceans, breaking down into ever smaller pieces called micro-plastics, well known for entering the food chain through the water, air and food that we consume.Seabin Smart Tech, similar to a rubbish bin X pool skimmer, removes floating plastics as small as 2mm, filtering 600,000L of water per day from oil and surface pollutants.
Having the opportunity to travel the world and live by the sea we have realised that there has never been a more important time to protect our oceans. Splice Boutique is dedicated to a clean sustainable future for our sea's and the health and safety of our community.
In this current COVID-19 crisis, Women's Community Shelters is experiencing a 25% increase in inquiries for safe accommodation for women and children who are homeless or escaping domestic violence. Existing services were already at full capacity, with more than 50% of women seeking shelter turned away due to a lack of beds.
Across Australia, around 56,000 women are homeless each night, many with young children. Now, there are many more. Women unable to access shelters are left vulnerable, disconnected from community and support networks.
Women’s Community Shelters is dedicated to providing women and children with a safe place to stay and an opportunity to rebuild their lives.
Growing up on the Northern Beaches, Sydney, we feel very close to our community and helping her grow. We aim to create positive change within families and children by supporting Women’s Community Shelters.
