Mother, business woman, style icon and Balinese princess.
With her effortless grace and down to earth personality, Lindy Klim took some time to chat with Splice Boutique about the importance of wellness, her favourite pieces from the Marguerite collection and what's next on the agenda for Fig Femme.
It was a pleasure talking with the beautiful Lindy Klim Ellis.
What inspired you to start Fig Femme?
I felt that there was a real gap in the market for intimate wellness products that were formulated specially for that part of the body. I wanted to brake the taboo and stigma associated with intimate wellness.
Do you have any tips for keeping your health and wellbeing together with a busy schedule?
Fortunately for me I live in Bali. I make sure I utilise what Bali has to offer, which are incredible acupuncture‘s, healers, masseuses as well as eating a clean diet, except some red wine of course!
What’s the best advice you have been given?
What other people think about you is none of your business!
What are your favourite pieces from ÉSS THE LABEL’s new collection, Marguerite?
I love everything… this collection is one of my favourite! I love the wide leg pants as well as the slip dress.
As the founder of a wellness brand, what does wellness mean to you?
I guess in some part it was about looking after yourself. Excepting to love yourself but when you offer it to others, whether it’s for sale or even as a gift, then you’re creating a community and it’s no longer just about yourself.
We always listen to music… we have it on all the time! We listen to everything from Kanye, The xx, Glass Animals, Milky Chance.. Tim Ferris , and goop podcasts and I’m currently reading The Untethered Soul.
What are you currently listening to / reading / watching?
We love a great morning routine, what gets you out of bed in the morning?
My kids! I’m actually not a morning person… I really wish I were.. Our mornings are always rushed trying to get the kids out the door for school unfortunately.
What is next for Lindy Klim?
So much…. I really enjoy evolving and trying new things… I don’t like to stay in the same place for long so will try as many different things as I can… Ultimately my plan is to grow Fig Femme to be global.
